Bishop James Macharia Muraya (Bsp. Jimmy Macharia) is the visionary founder of Harvest Family Ministries International, a global movement of churches dedicated to reaching diverse communities and raising champions who influence various spheres of society.
He began pastoring the church in June 2009, growing it from a humble congregation of 67 members to more than 1,500 today. He is the husband of Reverend Mercy Macharia and a devoted father to two children, Ann and Geoffrey.
Bsp. Jimmy is a fervent preacher and teacher of God’s Word. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible and Theology from the East Africa School of Theology.
A highly influential leader, he is passionate about reaching lost souls, planting and growing churches, raising leaders, and transforming lives—especially among the young generation. He firmly believes in the principle of fatherhood and sonship.
Bsp. Jimmy also leads the Church Growth Is Possible Convention, where he ministers to pastors and church leaders across the world.
He is an international speaker who has travelled to nations such as Rwanda, Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, the United Kingdom, and the United States, among others.
He is the author of Living a Significant Life, Faithfulness, and Church Killers.
